Storing food in the replicator systems is 100% efficient, but any true gourmand would say replicated food is a poor imitation of the real thing.

Cryostasis is a near-perfect method of storage, but its energy consumption makes it impractical for daily use. This is why, even in the 24th century, simple vacuum-sealed mechanical containers are still in use.

CONTAINMENT VESSELS FOR STORING SNACKS

This set of four containers is well suited for items which, if exposed to the elements, would encourage spoilage or off smells or flavors.
